I’m unsure if this would be something that we all would consider “good”. With my opinion, I would say that the affordable care act (Obama Health Care) has provided a great support to those which were in the need. Especially for our elderly which seeks proper medicines and care from doctors. This health care has assisted Americans on not suffering by having “good” affordable health insurance that’s needed. With my understanding Mills describes “good” as a happiness and pleasure with the absence of pain. Mill states that happiness is sole basis of morality. Singer views good as equal treatment. All of his interest is avoiding pain. His interest requires beings to be weighed according to the beings concrete properties.if we can not identify with the god of utilitarianism then there would be people with views of theses aspects. just as the video that was shown Hedonic Calculus, ach person had different aspects on how and what they would do with the wallet. All of their views were not a result of happiness.
