Monitoring health status response health and medicine homework help
100-150 words, this is the instructor response to the original discussion post.apa format, etc.
Thank you for beginning this discussion. Good discussion on the measuring the health status of individuals aged 15 – 64. However, I am always concerned with the 65+ population. With the baby boomer generation reaching 65 beginning in 2011, we are experiencing an epidemiological shift in demographics. According to data from the Administration on Aging, older adults 65+, represented 12.9% of the U.S. population (36 million). By 2030, this population will increase to 19% (72 million – double).
What do you think are the benefits of this knowledge and the benefits of monitoring the health status this population?
