Joint Commission Compliance Analysis

In this assignment, you are the Health Information Director and your hospital hired a consultant to help determine major issues to address with the hospitals information technology.  The consultant submitted the report that follows and is attached in the assignment file. With this information in hand, you need to prepare a report for the CEO to tell him what you recommend be done before the visit. Relate the Joint Commission standards to the consultant’s findings. Tell the CEO why you are concerned.  If you would like, you could create a table to map each concern to the related standard and include that in your report.
