Girl scout for the past seven years earn bronze award
Legal outreach (2019) The Summer Law Institute (SLI) is a five-week, summer law program for students who have just completed their eighth grade school year. The Summer Law Institute pushes rising ninth graders to see themselves as young professionals-in-training. The program exposes them to positive and successful role-models, involves them in professional activities, and places them on a path that can lead to the fulfillment of their dreams.
Participate Youth court for the past 2 years Queens Youth Court: trains local teenagers to serve as jurors, judges, and advocates, who handle real-life cases involving their peers. Grounded in restorative justice principles, youth court uses positive peer pressure to ensure that young people who have committed minor offenses learn accountability and repair the harm caused by their actions. The program receives referrals from schools, the New York Police Department, the New York City Department of Probation, and the New York City Law Department.

The Special Program in Law is one of the selective programs in law that gives high school students an opportunity to declare their interest in law as a profession. The purpose of this essay is to discuss why I am applying to the Special Program in Law and how I feel the undergraduate studies at UConn will further my personal interest in law.
Why I am Applying To The Special Program In Law And How I Feel MY Undergraduate Studies at Uconn Will Further My Interest In Law
The motivation to apply for the course was influenced by the nature of the courses that the program has to offer. I am applying to the Special Program in Law at the institution because learners receive direct support from their instructors preparing them for the challenges to experience in law school. The courses that I will complete during the Special Program in Law provide mentorship that will prepare me for legal practice. The program comprises a mixture of coursework, lectures, and workshops which will fill my knowledge gap in my legal career. I have a passion for the program and I demonstrate readiness to complete the necessary requirements as outlined by the university (The University of Connecticut, n.d.). I believe that completing the Special Program in Law will fulfill my ambition of becoming a skilled and knowledgeable professional in the legal field.
The undergraduate studies at UConn will further my personal interest in law. The program contains a number of courses that are relevant to the legal profession. Examples of such issues include political science, philosophy, and mathematics. The Special Program in Law will give me an opportunity to learn skills and knowledge relevant to legal practice. Completing the Special Program in Law at Uconn will create an opportunity to become a member of the Honors Program.

For example, I have been a girl scout for the past seven years and earned a bronze award.
