Respond to following statement:
I support SIJS.  I believe that foreign abused or neglected children that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have already taken under its wing should be given a chance to remain in the U.S. to live and work permanently. Everyone should have a chance stay in America if they are willing to become a valued member of society. Immigration has a significant impact on education, jobs, poverty, healthcare, taxes, wages and the environment.  Right now, the primary concern of immigration and border security is national security involving threats from foreign terrorists on U.S. soil.  Immigrants also hurt the economy and lower the wages of American workers. The greatest challenge police officers face with school violence, and bullying is the lack of training.  Often the school resource officer (SRO) is not well-trained with dealing with bullying and school violence. The SRO may be more trained in crime prevention and evidence, than in cyberbullying and student violence. One strategy the SRO could utilize is researching and implementing a school violence and bullying prevention program.
